Our names are Isaac and Maya Mathis, and we are a husband and wife photo/video team based in Salt Lake City, UT!
We've been taking photos and making videos for quite some time—as long as we can remember, really! It was five years ago when Isaac first popped the question, asking if Maya would be willing to shoot a wedding with him. On that day Mathis Films was born, and we've been shooting weddings ever since!
Our work is different
Your wedding day is the most important day of your life. Never again will all of your loved ones be assembled in one place, ready to mix and mingle and celebrate your love. As photographers and filmmakers, we get a special window into your life, and we take this role very seriously. Our goal is to elevate your wedding day to the status of cinematic art while still keeping true to what makes you, you. Our style is flexible and our vision is straightforward. We want you to feel like the main characters in your own movie!
